Glenforest School received a grant to update the technology in the building. The result of years of a piecemeal approach to technology was wires and cables everywhere. Some dated back to the early 1980s. We were unsure of what we had and certainly had no clue what was needed. John Edens, owner of Higher Ground, was just what we needed. He came into our school assessed our current system and determined the need for the future. As a small non-profit school serving students with disabilities, we needed every penny to invest in computers and software. He evaluated what we could still use and only sold us what we had to have to move forward stating that he knew any savings could help our students. In addition, he removed all of the old wiring and cable, labeled everything, and gave us a wonderful technology map for the future. His staff was pleasant with a stellar work ethic. It is obvious that they care about the community in which they live. I would highly recommend Higher Ground to anyone who has wiring and cable needs.
